Since 1972 in Munich, YWAM has been sending missionaries to share the love of Jesus to the world gathering at the Olympics. This year is no exception. Kerygma Texas is proud to be sending representatives to the Olympics to evangelize to over 200 nations in one place!
Putting Feet to the Great Commission
This is not a pleasure trip. YWAMers from around the world will be sleeping in tents, on school floors and in churches. They want to be there and see God make those Divine Appointments, those special moments when He brings just the right person along our path to share the Gospel.
Kerygma Texas missionaries meet former Olympian
Sister Christine Holum was an olympic athlete before becoming a Franciscan Sister. She won the youth world championship in the 3000 meter speed skating event in 1997 and took 8th place in the Nagano Olympics the next year. Here she is with her old training suit and the Kerygma Texas team in London at the Joshua Camp training building. Here they have teachings, mass, adoration and pray together at teams before going out daily to various ministry venues throughout London.
