Committee chairs – Bishop Alvaro Corrada, SJ, center, has appointed Alan and Lori Harris as directors of the East Texas Catholic Charismatic Service Committee. They have served the church through the lay apostolate Youth With a Mission for three years and have worked on evangelization at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Flint, under the direction of pastor Father Tim Kelly. They have also worked with the diocesan Evangelization Committee and Father Ariel Cortes, drawing their support from donations. The Harris are preparing for a training and ministry trip to Ireland during the summer and remain available for parishes, missions, retreats, youth development and renewal.
