In the typical Catholic environment, there are few outlets for devoting your career to God's service other than being a priest, deacon or nun. As young people facing the world, Lori and I each longed to do some kind of religious training. Providentially, we crossed paths with a discipleship training school (DTS) that trained young people to know God and make him known.
At present Kerygma has two six month DTS's, in Australia and India. Kerygma USA is working to establish these discipleship schools for Catholic adults on American soil also. After these schools, many DTS grads go into full-time missionary work in the states or abroad. In addition to these longer schools, we offer shorter events aimed at youth still in grade school or college.
