To Know God and Make Him Known
The outreaches were really bold. We toured a Hare Krishna temple Wednesday and heard a lot of double-speak from their deeply deceived spokesperson.
Thursday we prepared flowers in clay pots and took them to some local parks.

The kids told people we were giving out flower pots to remind them that there is hope in God who loves Chicago. He wants things to get better.  They prayed with people too.

They wrote prayers, scriptures and encouraging words with chalk on the walkways. These were a silent witness after we left of the love of Jesus.
Wednesday and Thursday after supper we drove half the teenagers to little India, Devon St, to take surveys and pray for the Indian people.
The other half went to a homeless area and gave out sack lunches and also prayed.  This is the “go” of evangelization. Jesus said to “go ye into all the world and preach the good news.” We want to train and mobilize young Catholics and old, to do what we saw on this trip.
There were three Catholic youth there, including our son James. Many of these protestant kids are on fire for the Lord and bold in their evangelism. We're talking 14 and 15 year olds. It's amazing. They were even getting spiritual dreams and visions.
