To Know God and Make Him Known

A Little Good News Pt 2

Saturday night was the talk on the Holy Spirit. I doubt these youth had ever heard about the gifts of the Spirit. They were very humble and open to whatever God had for them. I can't really say what gifts they received, but all in my group definitely felt the Holy Spirit flaming in them.
I was able to pray over two of my boys personally as they connected with the Power From On High. The boys all said they were crying when it was over.
Sunday morning in our final small group, Miguel said he was ready to go home and start sharing Jesus with his friends. Pray for Miguel and the other teenagers we ministered to at Youth Aflame.
Lori and I also celebrated our 30th Anniversary that week. When we joined our lives together 30 years ago we wanted just one thing: to be totally given over to the Lord to minister any way he would have us. Mainly we wanted others to be in intimate relationship with Him, living their lives the way God intends us to.

30 years later we still live and believe that way and are full time missionaries.
We see God brought us back to Texas for such a work as this, ministering to
the hungry Catholic people in East Texas. It's really a challenge finding those
who want to eat the “food” we have to offer

Being in Youth With a Mission, we have a heart for......Youth. We remember how God caught us when we were still young and cemented a foundation under us that has lasted. We have trained our seven children in the same way, that when they are old they might not depart. We want to keep hearing “a little good news” from today's youth. Please help us reach more.
