SST Phase One: Houston (pg. 2)

There are a few homeless ministries in Houston
that present church in the street. 		They draw the people in with the promise
of a meal, after open-air church.
Local and out of town churches & ministries provide food, entertainment, preaching, Bibles and prayer.
Through the leadership of Martin and Kim Dale, YWAM Houston has participated in these opportunities for evangelism for years.

 Our students learn to serve, perform dances & dramas, and pray for young and old.
 After driving these noisy kids the four hours to Houston and watching them cut up as they settled into their housing,
it was amazing to see them go right to the street people and minister. Youth are moldable. Us grown-ups are mold-y. It’s so good for all of us to get out and see God have opportunities ready.
 We helped with a morning church in the park,
where many of the men actually sleep under the trees.
